The 2012 Naval Academy Herndon Monument Climb

The 2012 Naval Academy Herndon Monument Climb

00

One of the greasiest events of the year took place a couple of days ago as the Annapolis Naval Academy freshmen make a human wall to climb the 21-foot Herndon Monument covered with lard for the occasion.

It took 19-year-old Andrew Craig, of Tulsa, Oklaoma, a little over two hours and 10 minutes to reach the top of the monument! It's for sure a bonding experience and a great team work … of course for the glory of it, I guess, most want to be on top but the bottom guy crushed under this human pile is just as important as the guy on top … See you next year!
