Le Cap Ferret is at the junction of the Atlantic Ocean and the bassin d'Arcachon where the main activity is oyster farming.
Located minutes away from le Cap Ferret, the amazing Dune du Pyla ... this sand dune is 500 m wide from east to west and 2.7 km in length from north to south and standing 108 metres tall above sea level. The dune has been observed to move landward, slowly pushing the forest back to cover houses, roads ...
The view is amazing and the fun part is the running (rolling) down the dune.
apparemment la météo est beaucoup plus clémente là-bas qu'à paris et dans tout le nord de la france... ;-)
