London C'est Fini! Rendez Vous In Rio De Janeiro in 2016

Et voila ... the curtain has fallen on London!

The non sportif person that I am will always remember the divers and the spice girls.

I love that models took part of the closing ceremony, David Gandy, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Lily Cole, Jourdan Dunn, Karen Elson, Georgia May Jagger and Stella Tennant ... so chic!

Now all eyes are turingto the next city ... Rio de Janeiro in Brazil in 2016.

We got to see a preview of Rio during the closing ceremony and when it comes to gorgeous models, Brazil has nothing to envy to the UK. She may have been alone last night but Alessandra Ambrosio sure represented well her country (along comedian Renato Sorriso and singer Seu Jorge).

The location of Rio is simply amazing, one of the most amazing project is the Solar City Tower, an artificial waterfall designed to generate clean, renewable energy.

The 2016 Rio Games will be the first country in South America to host the games, leaving Africa as the only continent yet to play host.

Unlike all the other Olympiads the opening and closing ceremonies are not held in the athletics stadium: the ceremonies will be at the Maracanã Stadium instead.

The Games’ motto is ‘Viva Sua Paixao’, which means ‘Live Your Passion’.
