New York ... The City & The Storm

A couple of days ago we came back from a trip to New York City.

Superstorm Sandy completely changed my perspective on a city that I enjoyed from time to time. I never was the type of person to scream OMG I love NY ... that was until this week.

Powerful experiences like the one we went through (even tho we were lucky to remain safe pretty much the all time) are very humbling moments in life. It unveiled a city with strong, resilient and generous people who care for eachother. (You can help those who lost everything by donating to the red cross).

I never expect to bound with New York in those conditions but life is always full of surprises ... I think a "I miss NY" would be a nice twist on the classic "I heart NY" T-shirt.
