Karl Lagerfeld slowly moved through the years from a couple of minutes videos from filming commercials (Magnum ice cream bars is the last to date) to longer films like The Tale of a Fairy screened at the Chanel's 2011-12 Cruise show in Antibes on monday for the fashionisto and fashionista jet setters.

Lagerfeld described the film as a sort of homage to the legions of moneyed women who snap up his designs, without a thought for their astronomical pricetags.
I absolutely love the beach scene, I think it's full of realism and it's funny and sad at the same time.
With 25 minutes, The Tale of a Fairy starring Anna Mouglalis, Amanda Harlech, Kristen McMenamy, Freja Beha Erichsen, Bianca Balti, Baptiste Giabiconi, Brad Koening, Jake Davies, Mark Vanderloo, Oriol Elcacho, Sébastien Jondeau, Seth Kuhlmann ... among other friends of the Chanel house, is Karl's longest film to date!
