So Chic / Sofitel Hotels in Asia Makeovers By European Designers

A fashionable wind of change is coming to Sofitel hotels in Asia.

So Sofitel, from staff uniforms, loby, exclusive objects available for clients during their stay designers are relooking some of the most iconic destinations.

Fashion is definitely not going out of style anytime soon.

Christian Lacroix styled the Sofitel Bangkok (above) while Karl Lagerfeld will design the New So Singapore located at 35 Robinson Road. The luxury hotel will feature 134 guestrooms including 23 suites. Every room's uniquely-designed theme representing modern Singapore while preserving the building's heritage.

Presenting The Lacoste Lab

The Lacoste Lab revives the tradition of innovation, an integral part of the brand’s DNA. Besides being a tennis champion, René Lacoste was also a great inventor and designer.

He invented and designed for his own comfort and efficiency on court, he also created technical and revolutionary tennis rackets, balls, golf clubs and golf bags as well as the first ever tennis-ball throwing machine.

The artifacts produced by the LACOSTE LAB naturally build a bridge between the brand’s heritage and its future.

Jeremy Scott has revisited the famous sac pliage Longchamp for the summer 2012, taking us to a "Land of Sunshine" with a postcard from Paradise. This bag was available exclusively for the hipsters at Colette in Paris and will be available for the commoners of shopping January 1st.
