So Chic

GQ Style China / Motherland By Thomas Cooksey

Motherland is a really cool fall fashion editorial photographed by Thomas Cooksey and styled by Luke Day for GQ Style China. Models Hannes Gobeyn and Sander van de Coevering. Makeup by Elias Hove. Hair by Ben Jones. Images courtesy of De facto Inc.

The most amazing part of this editorial (besides the great photography and styling) is that it was entirely shot in studio with a set build by Theoo Politowitz.

So Chic & Wild / Sean O'Pry for Hermès

A very feline looking Sean O’Pryis 'watching' you from the très chic Hermès jungle. See the rest of 'La métamorphose , une histoire Hermès' campaign by Hans Silvester here and the women's campaign with  Diana Moldovan & Yumi Lambert here.

So Chic / Actor Matthias Schoenaerts Is The New Face Of Louis Vuitton

We have feature le beau Matthias Schoenaerts a couple of times already on OhLaLa.

He was photographed by Bruce Weber for the New York Times Style issue back in March 2013 and before that in November 2012 by Mario Testino for Vogue US with Carolyn Murphy and most recently a quite tragic cover for the first issue of ELLE Man France in 2012 he also did a movie with Marion Cotillard Rust & Bones.

But today the sexy Belgian actor is the face of Louis Vuitton summer 2014 campaign via Bello Mag.

So Chic / Matt Clunan For Ralph Lauren Black Label

Model Matt Clunan is rocking Ralph Lauren Black Label FW 13.14 collection in this look book from Barneys New York. Enjoy Black is the new black below:

Andrew Marc - Luxury Basics

This season is all about mixing up , and there are very few brands that offer the quality luxury products that can be easily incorporated in anyone's garderobes as Andrew Marc does. The secret is to have classic cuts with updated color options and materials. Something we would like to call luxury basics, the items you can not go wrong with.

Our picks for this season : teal Natalie, and blush Venus jackets, and for the guys must have Andrew Marc watches as well as Nile in Cork. Andrew Marc's vision is cosmopolitan in nature, grounded in New York City, but inspired by larger developing American fashion trends. Beginning with the fur-lined lambskin bomber jacket, which immediately became a cornerstone to the company's success, Andrew Marc has worked hard to establish a reputation as an iconic American brand. The collection has evolved substantially since its inception, and includes a secondary label, Marc New York by Andrew Marc.

The Shoes to be Seen in this Spring

Spring is just round the corner, with the (hopefully) warmer weather necessitating a change in the foot department from the hardy, ankle-length leathers of winter to soft, cool materials for spring. But what are the shoes to be seen in this season? We take a look at some of the hottest footwear on offer this year.

Desert boots

Spring is renowned for its changeable weather - especially in the UK - so a shoe that is light enough for warmer days but still provides protection and warmth should the weather take an unexpected turn is highly recommended. For this purpose, the Clarks desert boot is still the king. The classic suede versions in camel, tan or amber gold suit both formal and casual occasions, and with their appeal lasting for over 70 years already, do not look like they are going out of fashion any time soon.

Derby shoes

Again a good go-between shoe for this most variable of seasons, leather derbies will work as well in the office as they will on a weekend stroll. Go for a rich chestnut-brown hue and then build your outfit around it, swapping the wool jumpers of winter for a lighter cotton cardigan and slim-cut, dark-navy jeans. The simple lines of the derby also mean that why they won't quite go with everything - it is very hard to get good shoes to work with jogging bottoms - they are as close as you will get.

Tasselled loafers came back on the scene in a big way a few years ago - largely due to the 'ankling' craze so coined by Esquire - and are still very much on the scene in 2013. As the weather heats up, consider pairing with a pair of turned-up, skinny cream jeans or heritage-weave smart trousers - cut just above the ankle of course for the perfect smart yet laid back look.

Slip on

For something more casual than the offering above, slip ons are the way to go. As far away from the multitude of laces, straps and buckles that are so synonymous with winter footwear as possible, slip-on shoes are the perfect casual shoe for the season. Go for a muted, natural tone to ensure they go with as many different outfits as possible.
