So Gold / Gucci Spring Summer 2012 Campaign

I think the only thing saving the image of Gucci right now are the photos produced by the Mert & Marcus factory. I always found Gucci to be on the edge of tacky-ness, it never rhyme with luxury for me at least not according to my taste ... the abundance of gold is not helping either!

Gucci Upgrading James Franco to Men's Made-to-Measure

After being the aqualicious spokesperson of Gucci by Gucci [James Franco all wet for Gucci by Gucci] Gucci is upgrading James Franco to their brand new men's made-to-measure service.

Frida Giannini, Gucci's creative director, said: "James has an innate ability to fuse classic elegance with contemporary style and interpret formal wear in an individual way."

Whatever that means ... I guess she likes him!

According to Gucci, made-to-measure suits will start at £1,900 when the service becomes available in 11 boutiques worldwide by the end of the year. Customers will be able to choose from 178 possible combinations of colours and fabrics.
