MELROSE PLACE /AMANDA'S RETURN TURNS THE HEAT BACK ON

Et voila, Amanda [Heather Locklear] is back to Melrose Place. The much anticipated event of this first season was I have to say fulfilling. So Amanda has an agenda, not a breaking news but what is it she came back for !? According to the note left by Sydney it is not revenge but rather something more material. We shall see ...

And she has not changed much ... the only thing is that our tv did get a little more blurred and glowing, I have no idea why !? ;-)

After the return of the tyrant, THE scene of this episode was the intimate moment between Ella [Katie Cassidy] and another women! Pretty steamy lesbian kiss I have to say.

And just to put you in the mood of the kiss, below the song used for that scene. Cascada's 'Evacuate the dance floor' is pretty catchy, you may even wanna move your chair and start to dance ... I so did ;-)





As a gay man I believe that lesbians are our best advocates to win the gay-right-cause. For some reason people have less problems with women being together, especially the hot ones. You go girls !!!!



The OhLaLa moment was brought to us by Auggie [Colin Egglesfield] coming out of the pool in the middle of the night like some kind of rare specimen that scientists would travel the world to observe :-P

I have once travelled to Africa to stay one all night on a beach in Gabon to see turtles popping out of eggs to have a dip in the ocean. So no need to tell you that I would have no problem spending a night anywhere in Los Angeles to witness monsieur Colin getting out of some pool ;-)

I still cannot believe he got fired :-( Melrose Place can be so cruel sometimes ... but that's L.A. It's full of sharks who want to eat you for breakfast, and you have to learn how to swim around them to survive and avoid being part of the food chain. Once you learn that at your own expenses [always the best way] then Los Angeles is a pretty nice place to swim around.



Oh and the sexy David [Shaun Sipos] also had his moment with the gorgeous Lauren [Stephanie Jacobsen] I mean those people are so beautiful it kind of hurts my eyes sometimes.

MELROSE PLACE!AUGGIE'S FINAL DAYS AND COLTON HAYNES APPEARANCE

Apparently Ashlee Simpson act like a diva on the set of Melrose Place and that is one of the reason why she was fired ...

"Ashlee was kicked off Melrose Place because she was a total diva on set, late all the time, and deeply disliked by fellow cast members"



A Diva usually describes a woman of outstanding talent ... and we all agree that there is nothing outstanding in her atrocious 'performance'. I mean look at her, I almost feel bad for the poor girl, she thinks acting is just about squinting and opening her eyes wide open ... On the other hand I have no idea why Auggie [Colin Egglesfield] was also fired.



Melrose Place is so bad that it is almost good! And we all know that it is not the quality or the numbers of viewers that makes a show last, look at Heroes, it became one of the worst show on television and it is still airing.



OhLaLa regulars may have recognized Colton Haynes as the young Holywood actor who ends up at the hospital.

MELROSE PLACE HAS TWO NEW APARTMENTS FOR LEASE ... COLIN EGGLESFIELD & ASHLEE SIMPSON ARE OUT

I am upset! My favorite character on Melrose Place Colin Egglesfield aka Auggie has been fired!!!!!!!! And he is not the only one, Ashlee Simpson will also be packing ... Their characters will make a final appearance on the CW drama in January.



The decision to cut the two actors has been “the original plan going into the development of the show,” executive producer Todd Slavkin tells “We felt that once the murder mystery was resolved, the tone of the show was going to shift … and character would move on.” Oh great now we know who killed Sydney.

The only positive thing out of it is that 2 new apartments will be available for lease next year at Melrose Place Apartments not sure if it is a one year or even shorter lease tho.



The site even propose you to follow their 'satisfied' residents on Twitter like Chef Auggie. Not sure that Chef Auggie and Violet are satisfied residents right now.



And because I am SOOOOO upset I have decided to do a Colin Egglesfield collage ;-P

"I've had better days, to be quite honest." said Colin to E!Online in an exclusive interview.



You were initially hired to be an ongoing series regular on Melrose Place, right?

Yes, definitely, I was slated to be in 10 of the 13 first episodes, but I had a multiyear contract.

What happened to change that? How did you learn they weren't going forward with you and your character?

I got the call this morning from our producers, Todd [Slavkin] and Darren [Swimmer]. They were really saddened, and you could tell it was difficult for them to break this news to me. They said it was a network decision, and they said the network thought Auggie was a little too dark, with his alcoholism. They felt like in the landscape of Melrose they wanted to change the tone of the show. So that's the explanation that they gave me.

And this morning was the first you'd heard of it?

They said that it wasn't anything against me or my talent or anything. There was never any discussion that they weren't sure what they were going to do with me or my character. And it wasn't like I was getting in fights with crew members or punching people out.

AMANDA BACK ON MELROSE PLACE

Heather Locklear aka the Evil and fabulous Amanda Woodward was looking hot on the set of Melrose place today while she was filming an upcoming episode with Thomas Calabro aka Dr. Michael Mancini [INF]



It is amazing how the actresses from Melrose Place 1.0 look much better and younger today than they did almost 17 year ago. So what's their secret!? Apparently just like vampires their skin must never touch a ray of light that is why most of the actors have their own personnel umbrella holder assistant. Do not smile because guys do the same thing [Jeffrey Donovan on the set of Burn Notice] I have also heard that it is a MUST to have them die their hair to the same color then your pants, and if you change your mind at the last minute you just fire them after whipping them for 10 minutes.

Even if you think that is a good personal assistant below for having died his hair the right color, I think he should totally get fired because instead of smiling at the paparazzi he should have been more careful not to let the sun touch Heather's arm.



I know that umbrella is more something you associate with the rain and talking about the rain we just had like two days of non stop rain [I know scary right!?] those of you in the rest of the world cannot understand how rain = end of the world here. We had breaking news, storm watch, live coverage all day long and even evacuations ... If you didn't know it was just rain you would think we were under some kind of attack. After all this is the entertainment capital of the world right !?

But one thing is for sure, Angelinos don't like the rain, some don't even know what it means. I was suspecting at some point that like in the movie Gremlins some people here may turn into monsters in the contact of water.

IMPORTANT WARNING:

This warning must stay between you and I, but if you ever meet someone from Los Angeles or even worst, come here, you must not let them near a bright light [without sunglasses] must not allow rain to touch them and most importantly, must never, EVER feed them with carbs. I am not kidding you ... your life may be in danger if you do not respect those rules.

MELROSE PLACE! LOOK AT ME ...

Some actors are really trying hard to give you the look to show you they can act. Angry look, scary look, sexy look ... Yes, in the new Melrose Place there's a look for everyone!



I have no idea if this is on purpose (and I hope) but some scenes are actually so cheesy that they are laughable but overall it is entertaining for what it is. The fact that all the actors and actresses are beautiful is sure a plus. Is this enough to make people watch a series today !? Probably yes! Is it enough for me to keep watching it on tivo fast forward, maybe!

Funnily is most of the characters are big time cliches or a caricature of themselves, the only classy and not over the top, is the gay guy played by Victor Webster [below].



I am not gonna spoil anything don't worry because myself I do not really pay attention to all the stories. But we like Auggie [below] a LOT! He is crazy like most of the people in the building but who cares what dark secret he is hidding, as long as he does not hide anything else from us ;-)
