Olympic record breaker Michael Phelps refused to show off his famous 25 pack stomach on MTV's TRL after admitting he has let himself go and not exercised since winning eight golds in Beijing [MTV TRL]
Embarrassed Phelps put his hand over his stomach and told host Lindsay Rodriguez: "Maybe not right now, I've not worked out for six or seven weeks'.
Instead he posed for cameras with a custom speedo ... in his hand! MTV 'Total Request' was a total 'Live' failure on showing Michael Phelps' skin :-(
For once that we get to see Michael Phelps wearing something else than just a speedo. One little complain tho, today's men are not (and should not be) wearing back pack anymore Michael! A couple of days ago, in the UK Michael Phelps got to parade in front of Buckingham Palace in central London with fancy smoke out of some plane's butt.
When I saw this photo, after the dress effect the second thing that came to my mind was that our friend in California David from Pretty On The Outside will get inspired by this shot. OMG I don't know about you but when I scrolled down this page my twisted mind first saw Michael Phelps in a sexy red evening dress ... LOL! Of course what appears to be the top of an evening dress is just his 8 gold medals from Beijing for the cover of Sport Illustrated ;-) Just like the shot of Mark Spitz in 1972, but I think those red ribbons are ruining the shot ...

Et voila! Olympic history has just been written this morning in Beijing in the 4x100 medley. 23 year old Michael Phelps surpassed Mark Spitz's epic 1972 feat of seven golds. He set or was part of seven world records. And, with 14, he has won five more golds than any other Olympian in history.
It would be great if Michael can inspire young people to join the swimming family ... Not very fair-play Spitz declared that it is unfair to compare Phelps with him since in 1972 Spitz won 100% of his races when Michael Phelps who did 17 races just won half of it ... come on Spitz time to let go ...
If Michael Phelps was a country by itself he would be ranked number 4 in the number of medals !!!! Yes he did it again by 0.01 of a second to Serbian swimmer Milorad Cavic. I don't even know how you can calculate for sure a difference of 0.01 !!!!! Anyway this is just amazing ... but some some people at The Chicago Tribune thinks Michael Phelps is not patriotic enough ... yep!
