THE DAY THE BIGGEST MOON ROSE AND THE EARTH STOOD STILL

Without the earth we cannot live, but the earth can live without us, that is the general and unfortunately scary realistic idea of the movie The Day The Earth Stood Still.



The subject of humans being just another species on this planet is brilliant because that is what we are even if many of us driven by power, money, greed ... tempt to forget about it. Humans not respecting the earth and their own kind is no science fiction, it is reality and a subject I could not wait to see on the big screen.

Unfortunately we have left the theater extremely disappointed and wondering how and who can ruin an entire movie when you have a great story, good actors and amazing special effects artist!!!?

I think the real and only interesting subject of the movie was under-developed, I mean we've seen it all when it comes to aliens and spaceships landing in Manhattan even THE destruction scene is kind of all in the trailer (and that is one thing I hate). But it is just like in real life, when you have a majority of people doing their best to change things at the end it is on a couple of people to decide for us all and often make the wrong decisions.



Still on the subject of mother earth and its phenomenon, tonight I don't know if you guys have noticed (I didn't until I read it online) but it was the biggest full moon in 15 years as this natural satellite reaches its closest point to our planet. 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter according to NASA. For some it is still the time to go outside and look up, but don't worry if the earth does not stand still before that, the next time this will happen is 2016!

As you can see on the picture we took tonight in Los Angeles it was big and bright. When the moon rose over the Hollywood Hills it seemed like a sun rise.

You may remember Nicholas D'Agosto from the tv series Heroes. He was Claire's boyfriend, you know the cheerleader [Nicholas D'Agosto Heroes Latest Addition] This time Nicholas is not only dating a cheerleader, he is one of them, and he is naked!!! Along with Eric Christian Olsen in a new movie called Fired Up.

We knew that Gael Garcia Bernal could act, we loved him in Pedro Almodóvar's movie La Mala Educacion, picture below.



But we had no idea Gael Garcia Bernal also could sing! This song 'Quiero que me Quieras' is actually the soundtrack of his latest movie 'Rudo y Cursi' A movie where two siblings rival each other inside the world of professional soccer. HUGH JACKMAN OUTBACK SHOWER IN AUSTRALIA :-)

I know that we don't need an extra reason to go and see Hugh Jackman in Australia, but the outback shower scene is like the stuffing in the turkey (I though this expression would be more appropriate than 'icing on the cake' due to the thanksgiving holiday).



Here is what Hugh Jackman had to say about the shower and shirtless scenes of the movie:

"There was a great moment when we were shooting the outback shower scene which, by the way, is absolutely historically accurate. That’s exactly the technique they used. But, Baz was going for a movie that is a feast, has high comedy, has high tragedy, has romance, has swashbuckling moments, and has action and adventure. It has everything. So, when we were shooting that scene, I remember saying to Baz, “Are you sure this isn’t too much? Are they going to laugh? They’re going to think I’m a wanker here!” And, he said, “If we’re strong and really commit to the moment, the comedy of it will rise.” There were a couple members of the crew who took their shirts off, after the first little break, one of whom oiled himself up a little bit. Trust me, I got a lot of hell about that scene, when we were down there. It might have been a lot cooler having my shirt off for the whole movie because the weather was hard.



The very first scene we shot was the scene when we bring the cattle to Darwin at the end of the drove, and I had on what’s called a “dry-as-a-bone,” which is an all-weather coat. It goes down to your knees, and has a thick, padded lining. I had a woolen shirt on under it and leather pants, and I almost fainted, that first day of filming". [Media Boulevard]

ANOTHER CITY ANOTHER LOOK FOR DANIEL CRAIG

I love that is it nice and sunny in Spain but we cannot see Daniel Craig's amazing blue eyes because those glasses !!! After Paris, the stars of the new James Bond Quantum of Solace were in Valencia Spain today.

We've heard the movie is very good but has nothing of a 'classic' James Bond, and not a single 'Bond, my name is bond' ... I think that would be the first time this line is not used in a bond movie right !? But don't worry he is shirtless most of the movie ;-)
