When Ryan Phillippe lifts up his shirt in the middle of the bar at SoHo’s Crosby Street Hotel, it’s surprising that no one faints. He is, after all, a movie star—with taut muscles, smooth, caramel-colored skin, and a chiseled, ready-for-my-close-up mug. To think that someone might walk by, catch a glimpse, and collapse in excitement is not out of the question. Surely it’s happened before. But not today. Today everyone remains calm... On playing the first gay teen to ever appear on television: “I was shunned by the church after I did it. Ostracized, in a way. It was a nerve-racking job at 17, when you’re just kind of understanding your sexuality. I didn’t know any gay people. I was nervous and insecure. The other actors were like, ‘You’ve got to speak up.’ But it was an amazing learning experience. It grew me up.”

On his first tattoo: “I went to this shady, dirty tattoo parlor because I wanted to commemorate my first major role. I grew up with no money or connections to the business. My family struggled, and finally I’d gotten to the place where I was making a film with Jeff Bridges. I felt like I’d arrived.” Of his six tattoos, Ryan says his first is the most embarrassing. “It’s kind of bleeding and looks like a butterfly. It’s cliché. But I was 19—it should have been a cliché.”

On the paparazzi and his children: “I live in fear of the day my daughter searches her name [online],” he says, shaking his head in disgust. “She could see her entire life, from baby until 10 years old. I understand that there’s this curiosity, ‘Let’s see how the famous people made a child!’ But it’s incredibly creepy. Reese and I were really great at explaining all that stuff to them—they will never touch them or hurt them, and that the reason they’re pursuing us is because a picture of Mommy is worth a lot of money. Our kids are brilliant, they’ve lived with it long enough. They’ve seen billboards of Mom on Sunset.”

SNL / OHLALA RYAN PHILLIPPE

Snl01

So saturday night Ryan Phillippe was hosting SNL, it was really fun seeing him doing crazy stuff on tv. There was something that I have never paid attention to until now, his voice, he either has the deepest masculine voice ever or he is just acting it and it's a bit over the top. But who can complain about anyhting when it comes to Ryan. He seems so sweet and shy, if you pay attention at the end of each skit he was sort of uncomfortable and did not know what to do, which is a good sign of humility.

As always the only thing that is constant in quality in SNL are the photos of the host! And this time was no exception.

Larry King interview with Björk was really good but he funniest videos were probably the Kei$ha performances, even tho I am not sure if it was intended to look stupid and funny ...!!?

Oh and the Shake Weight DVD was fun too, too bad Ryan did not took part of that one. It would have been fun to see him with a shake weight in his hands ;-)

Even with a blond wig and a red spandex, Ryan manage to remain hot, and look at those legs ... damn!

RYAN PHILLIPPE HOTNESS ON THE COVER of MEN'S HEALTH

Ryan01

The handsome Ryan Philippe is not only taking his shirt off for the cover of Men's Health but also open up his feeling talking about ending his relashionship with the mother of his two kids, Reese Witherspoon.

"I still have sadness and complicated feelings about my divorce," Phillippe, who also recently broke up with live-in girlfriend Abbie Cornish, says in the May issue of Men's Health, on newsstands Tuesday. "But how beneficial is it to keep hanging onto those feelings?"

Phillippe, 35, who has two children with Witherspoon, is also surprised by the self-discoveries he's making as he ages. "I thought the most experience you had, the more certain you would be about life. But I'm finding the opposite, man. I'm more in wonder and confusion than I was in my 20s."

Well Phillippe that is just called life, we all learn at some point that there are no answers to anything and there are no two same roads for happiness. The point of life is finding your balance and accept pretty much all the things that you cannot change which is basically everything but yourself!

Those cool shots of Ryan were taken in Santa Monica by Anthony Mandler. And if you like Ryan make sure to watch SNL this weekend!

Ryan-phillippe-1379-01

We love Ryan Phillippe! Even tho I am sure he is not a fan of having photographers following him everywhere, we do like to have him on OhLaLa in a casual manner from time to time so hope he will excuse us.

We also love the fact that he likes to enjoy a good McDo after his morning jog [INF] after all what is the point us running and sweating if you can't enjoy some delicious McNuggets from time to time :-)

THE GUN SHOW! RYAN PHILLIPPE

Ryan-phillippe-379-01

Ryan Phillippe was spotted looking good and pumped outside his gym yesterday in Los Angeles. We don't get to see a lot of Ryan lately, and he is not a fan of photographers which I can understand.

But there's a lot of Ryan coming up soon on the big screen, he just finished filming The Bang Bang Club in South Africa, which is going to be an amazing movie and there's apparently 3 more movies on their ways. Tlatelolco: Mexico 68, Last Battle Dreamer and The Stanford Prison Experiment.
