I am sure the entire planet is familiar with the saddest and probably one of the most popular tune of all times. The Duck Dance aka La Dance des Canards in France.
Just imagine having to listen that first thing in the morning! Personally I would go nuts and that is what happened to Jonathan from french Big Brother with a twist Secret Story 3 He went nuts and jumped out of his bed ... to perform the duck dance naked.
This week Jonathan may be voted out of the house by the public, and that is a smart move to raise more votes for him (FYI Jonathan's secret was that he has one of the biggest IQ in France!) So it is not like he is stupid and doesn't know what he was doing ;-) And now I am going to have this tune in my head all day long ... GREAT!
The french do it better ... or worst depending on your point of view. As much as I though nudity in the shower was a fun and light french thing to do, in the past 48 hours the French Big Brother Secret Story turned ugly. Escape from the house by dangerously jumping off a wall and bitting another housemate. That was just the warming up in a series of world premieres in the history of Big Brother in Fance and in the UK.
I don't like to judge people unless they ask for it :-) Like by going on a reality show for example. Leo, below right, is probably one of the worst person I have ever seen in my entire life. Selfish, cruel, egocentric, manipulative and most of all dangerous!
So to make the story short:
Francois Xavier (You remember the hidden son of Naomi Campbell) is the only person in the house who remained loyal to Leo and had the bad idea to tell him he should assume his acts so he won't have to keep lying for him ... The scene was not shown on television and the screen went black when Leo stand up from his bed and jumped on Francois Xavier to beat him ....
Minutes after the event, Leo was taken off the house and now the housemates have to decided he should come back or not in the house. I think this decision is more about a strategy of the production to avoid any law suit in the future, making this part of a inside decision, which means sticking to the rules of the game.
But not all Big Brothers around the world promote violance and manipulation, sometimes out of this drama love wins as English hotty Charlie Drummond and brazilian cuttie Rodrigo Lopez broke new barriers and became the first gay couple in UK Big Brother history and got a whooping 92% WOO rating on the official site. Secret story is all about discovering other people's secret and the shower :-) I mean having the lisyt of all the secrets it's no brainer for viewers to figure out who is who so what's left to discover but the anatomy of the housemates :-)
Some are shy and some are not, but I believe that the production is just showing us what we really want to see. Romain and Jonathan, those two are on top of everyone's list bien sur. well at least on top of my list and that's all I care ;-)
One of the funny things in Secret Story is that they have to blur cigarettes (like with the smoke and the gesture you don't know what's going on ... lol) but when it comes to nudity, there are no such a thing as blur and I like that because America has such a huge problem with nudity that for me (frenchman) it's on the edge of being ridiculous sometimes.
By now we are use to see Jonathan sexy butt in the shower (above), but when Romain try to undress (below) the camera does not want to miss a bit of it as you will see in the video below.
Ok so every friday afternoon, thanx to the time difference Alek and I are enjoying the sunset from our pool along with Secret Story live prime time.
Let me just say that I am glad Jonathan was not voted off. The poor Martin (above) who arrived one week after everyone else just had time to start a tan and ... au revoir! His secret was that he is a millionaire so I guess it would not be a problem for him to go to Bali to finish that tan line.
So what happened lately!? I am sure you are dying to know, right !? ;-) Well to make it short and entertaining ...
Jonathan was on the edge of being evicted so he received speech from all the housemates, my favorite being from Romain who think Jonathan is like a blend of, the Dalai Lama, mother Teresa and former french boy band hunk 2B3 ... and you know what I agree!!!
Then later that day Romain showed to Jonathan and the rest of the world more than just his love for him he shoed him his butt :-) See the un-soap pictures in the gallery below.
With Jonathan it's all or nothing, cover from head to toes or butt naked in the garden.
He also revealed to his housemates the meaning of his tattoo, The phoenix, a homage to his mom who battled cancer 3 times.
Bruno had to face the reality, if you stay on the sun with a t-shirt on, you'll end up looking like an idiot.
Then the host of the show, Benjamin, looking cute in a dress and high heels!
Angie aka Barbie and Cindy (the bisexual) kissing ... yes Cindy's secret is to be bisexual but it is so obvious that everyone think it is something else. Well done!
Oh and yes a newcomer in the house of secrest, Kevin who was in the secret part of the house spying on the rest of the group but mostly doing crunches and push ups finally made his entrance. To be continued ...
One more secret was revealed and, I knew it, I knew it, I knew it! Jonathan is not only known for being totally fine taking a shower in front of the cameras, he also has the IQ of Einstein (even tho Einstein never took an IQ test) But still Jonathan is part of the 2000 people with the highest IQ in France.
Since day one Jonathan has been showing an extreme sensitivity and non judgement that made me think he was the brainer of the house. He is able to look right inside your soul and see the best in people.
Today Jonathan had a conversation with Angie aka Barbie and as you can see he was looking at her right in the eyes ....
in the eyes I said Jonathan ...
Voila! God he is so smart playing the straight guy who would look at a girl's boobs when talking to her, so nobody will ever find his secret ;-) But you have to admit that Angie is quite hot, and she is really nice too. Nothing I could resist if I was straight.
If officially none of the secrets have been found by the housemates, we already know 90% of them. The secret of Jonathan the 22 year old barman from St Tropez may be (I have the IQ of Einstein) But having the IQ of Einstein does not stop people from being a little exhibitionist.
Since day one Jonathan has decided to take his shower naked (which seems logical to me) and slowly some of the housemates like the cold-hearted-manipulator-no-soul Leo follows the trend (see all the photos in the gallery below) After all we're all equal when we're naked right !? Well not exactly equal but some are more lucky than others, let's put it this way.
And while everybody's taking a shower the 'spying' housemates Angie Kevin and Romain are watching (perverts!!).
I believe the one with the IQ of Einstein could be Bruno, who is like a French version of Taylor Lautner from Twilight. But his profile gives some hints that he used to be homeless [Watch his video profile] Television reality shows have taught me one important thing .... People LOVE to get naked and show their butts. Even Bruno's friends could not resist skinny dipping in front of the camera during his profile presentation.

I bet you didn't know Naomie Campbell had a son, well ... neither did she! But thanx to one of my favorite French summer tv shows Secret Story .... the secret is out.
For those of you not familiar with this show let me explain. It's like Big Brother only each contestant have a secret to protect and at the same time they have to guess other people's secrets. We did a little introduction about this new (and 3rd season) this weekend [Secret Story C'est Parti]
So unfortunately one of the contestants thought he found Francois Xavier's secret (as being the son of Naomie Campbell bien sur) but FX (and the housemates do not know that yet) is just a millionaire ...
But you have to admit that the resemblance is striking right !? They both have ... long hair!
I was a bit judgmental on my first look at this year's contestants, in fact I kind of like FX. We also like Jonathan and not only because he takes his shower totally naked in front of the cameras, but because he seems to be a really nice young man ...

Romain (the obnoxious french guy living in Los Angeles) seems to be a nice man too. He proudly flaunts his West Hollywood cap all day long, Go WeHo!
Romain, Angie and Kevin are not in the house with the others yet, but they are spying on them with the help of Leo (that we do not like btw).
But soon they will join the housemates with a common secret, nobody should ever know they were already in the game ...
And pretending they have never met before is going to be challenging for Romain who is getting a little closer to Angie everyday. To be continued ...

Secret Story is big brother meets a freak show a la Francaise. It's so sad that it is actually very entertaining, I love it. This year they did an AMAZING casting. 18 contestants, but after watching each profile we have made a little selection for you. The videos are in french but that's perfect for those of you who want to improve their french!
At first Romain is exactly the kind of person I describe when people ask me why I do not hang out with other French in Los Angeles. A star in his own world who does a little bit of modeling/acting/Clubbing pretty much everything that ends in ING. Oh did I mention that he is ready to sleep with people to get some of their confessions. But really Romain is just a sweet guy who likes to be the king of his world that's for sure but I am sure he is a great friend to have.

Kevin, the lovely Kevin, who is so hot that he thinks he could be the son of Brad Pitt (I mean he totally could, I do not think Angelina Jolie would say no to another adoption) He loves his abs, says he has never been in love and he needs someone who will be just like him ... another narcissistic guy should not be too hard to find right!? Oh right, he is straight ... ok ... well courage Kevin.

This year they have a bigger pool (very useful in Paris) but my favorite thing in this show is the shower ... wide open to the rest of the world, just the way I like it!
Today the first drama was around Cindy, one of the girls who went to take a shower naked (shocking I know!) they thought it was totally inappropriate to be naked next to the guys who are naked by the way (but it's ok for a guy to be naked) I mean they just create their own rules which is fine with me as long as Jonathan always stays naked while taking shower :-) Those who want to see the un-soaped picture, it's in the gallery below and for the video the action starts at 0.40 :-)
So among the secrets to be discovered: A millonaire, an ex homeless, a bisexual, a tsunami survivor, amazing IQ ... an ex miss France (totally busted after 2 minutes in the house) .... but who cares about the secrets anyway. At this point we have no idea who will be this year's winner but everybody looks like a "winner" to me ;-)
