Those sexy gladiators used to dress with even shorter shorts than the ones Beyonce is wearing. In fact those things are more like a belt than shorts. I am not complaining but just a few people can pull out a look like this and still look good.
This new episode of Spartacus Blood & Sand may have featured an heterosexual sex scene between two slaves for the pleasure of those damn pervert Romans, see the NSFW image HERE, there was no frontal nudity like we saw the week before [SPARTACUS BLOOD AND SAND ... This week was all about "how do my ass look in those?' and Andy Whitfield sure managed to look perfect [source] Click on the images for the full size.
There also was some more sensitive moments with our (possibly) gay gladiator (I am just saying). A personal young slave and a pigeon to cuddle, isn't that the most Rome-antic thing ever ;-)
We love The Vampire Diaries :-) But like if it was not hard enough already to handle Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder hotness, in last night's episode Sean Faris made his shirtless debut.
Yes Sean Faris aka Ben is a freshly turned Vampire thirsty for fresh blood 24/7. I really hope he is here to stay but I doubt. We are also waiting for the werewolf to come and ripped their shirts apart ...
Paul Wesley also had his shirtless scene last night. I know the angle makes it seems like there is something under the sheets but I can assure you that that is his feet right there ;-) I really doubt they do not do those things on purpose ... And look at those guns! Perfect.
Ian Somerhalder that I was pleased to see in LOST this week also had his shirtless mandatory scene in last night's episode.
Yesterday DANSK magazine sent us a couple of previews of their upcoming issue. Among those previews an editorial featuring Brigitte Nielsen who's making her return to fashion in an impressive shoot.
After a hiatus from the public limelight, DANSK persuaded the 46-year-old actress to pose for the acclaimed fashion photographer Jam (LGA London) at The Goldstein Residence in LA. Styled by Elizabeth Sulcer, Brigitte wears labels such as Chanel, Givenchy, and Lanvin. As a 1980s top model, Brigitte was a favourite of Helmut Newton and Herb Ritts. After her acting debut in the legendary Red Sonja, she achieved Hollywood fame and has since maintained international notoriety, not least as the former Mrs. Sylvester Stallone.
But don't try to text, twitt or call Brigitte Nielsen to congratulates her. She is actually busy doing a reality show for France. Yes she is part of La Ferme Celebrites actually filming in South Africa along with David Charvet and other more or less 'famous' celebrities.
Also in the farm Mickael Vendetta better known for doing a youtube video of him oiling his hot body (yes I told you that the term celebrity has a wide range today) If you don't believe me OhLaLa found the video he made back in 2007 catapulting him to the highest level of celebrity. Enjoy his 04.31 minutes of oily fame below.
And apparently he brought with him in Africa a wide range of shirtlessness.
But don't worry, they may be in Africa but the biggest risk for those celebrities is that everyone can see them taking a shower in the outdoor ... After all it's a reality show, and a French one.
Also in this issue the very naked Brian Shimasky By Anders Christian Madsen and Bastiaan Ninaber by Joachim Mueller-Ruchholtz.
Even tho many people tuned in to watch the Grammy Awards some other people enjoyed a nice shirtless night on ABC with first the beauBeau Mirchoff aka Danny Bolen in Desperate Housewives.
What are the odds of your name being beautiful and actually be beautiful !? ;-) Yes Beau Mirchoff takes a LOT after his name. I think he is the sexiest boy that ever lived on Wisteria Lane (Jesse Metcalfe included) What can I say, I just like him :-)
Unfortunately I have the feeling his family will be the next to move out of the lane ... please ABC keep him, I don't know have someone adopt him if the parents end up dead or in jail ... but don't write him of the show.
After that Rob Lowe and Luke MacFarlane each had their own shirtless scenes in Brothers & Sisters.
I love this show and it is one of the rare show I would still keep watching even without any shirtless scenes (unlike Spartacus for example) Brothers & Sisters has the best cast in a television series I just love them all. Click on the photos for the full size.
What can be hotter than Spartacus Blood & Sand episode one !? ... Well, the answer is Spartacus Blood & Sand episode two. Are you watching Spartacus on Starz !? You should, and if you don't then it's with pleasure that we will keep you updated on the show :-) :-)
At the beginning of this episode Starz is warning us, the nudity and intensity of sexuality is to suggest an authentic representation of that period! Hell yeah, I am all about the authenticity.
Gladiators were trained like true athletes, much like professional athletes do today (minus the whip I guess ... altho I suspect some countries to train their athletes like true gladiators, and I am not pointing China in particular). Gladiators also received medical attention and three meals a day. Gladiators were paid each time they fought. If a gladiator survived three to five years of combat they were freed, Some gladiators were volunteers but most were slaves. So that's for our historic fact. Now let's go back to the tv show will you.
So the gorgeous Andy Whitfield had a make over, new haircut and ... well that's pretty much all it takes for a gladiator's makeover. He also met new friends, some cute like this guys below. Unfortunately he did not last very long ... and died of natural gladiator causes (slide throat) Oh come on, this is not a spoiler, it's like telling you there will be sex and nudity in the next episode, we all know it's gonna happen ;-)
First do you know what a ludus is? Well it's the gladiators training school and this is where our hero Spartacus ended up after killing 4 gladiators in the Arena last week.
He aslo met some not so friendly gladiators like Crixus (below) played by Manu Bennett who had an entire full frontal scene (you gotta have balls to act for such a long scene with nothing on but your smile and abs)
There's also Barca played by Antonio Te Maioho. I do suspect that Barca is our Gay Gladiator, this is how Barca's profile reads:
"Though possessed of a temper and an imposing stature, he tempers this with the tenderness he shows his collection of birds ..."
Oh and he also has a young slave just for him ... and if you pay attention he is pretty nice with his slave as you can see on the picture below.
So yes Barca may be gay even tho I suspect them all to be at least sexually open, especially due to the lack of women and their little Gladiator spa where they all hang naked at the end of the day to massage bath and shave eachother.

Et voila, we all knew it but it does not make the announcement less painful :-( Ugly Betty has gonne out of fashion people!
"We’ve mutually come to the difficult decision to make this Ugly Betty’s final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion,” Silvio Horta and ABC Entertainment Group chairman Steve McPherson said in a joint statement. “We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell.”
When Ugly Betty was moved to the friday night slot, we knew the end was near. For those not familair with American 'coutumes', the friday night on television here is like an NDE (Near Death Experience) it is the closest step to the exit.
So even tho Betty moved to wednesday for the mid season premiere due to the cancelation of a show that needed to be cancelled way before, Eastwick, this last minute move was not succesful.
I think what ABC should do is a show called The Beautiful Amanda with Amanda bien sur Marc and Wilhelmina Slater because clearly we all love them and if a spinof must be done, this is it. And this way all the other actors including Betty can do a guest appearance from time to time :-) I just don't want them to go :-(
When we love a show, you create a connection with some of the characters and it's like saying goodbye to a friend. We always loved the show and beyond the end of a series it is also many jobs that comes to an end. Which in my opinion the biggest down side the all this. Betty is a great character but clearly what more do we want for her? She is now a Junior Editor and she is not Ugly anymore. I am sad the show will end but I am happy to witness in months to come the birth of the butterfly Betty who will I am sure finally find her destiny.
Spartacus Blood & Sand premiered last night in the US on Starz. We have mentioned this new series several times on OhLaLa so being in Paris was no excuse to miss on this season premiere.
The story is a basic gladiator story, a young beautiful and strong man makes love to his wife, then the drama, those damn Roman takes her away and bring our young man to the Arena to be chopped. But they didn't know that he is like the strongest man on the planet on top of having the most perfect body ;-) So instead of dying he lives and become a star ...
That's pretty much the story of this first episode, and yes there's a lot of sex, nudity and slow motion blood ... sometimes it's even a little over the top as you can see below.
But all this blood is balanced with a lot of skin. So if you like gladiators then this series is a must watch. I am sure the story will be great but even if you are not into men in leather skirts, Welsh actor Andy Whitfield itself is a good reason to get addicted.
It is also important to pay attention to every details in this series because I am sure there will be a LOT of cute boys in every scene.

A couple of nights ago while watching one of our favorite television shows in France 'On n’est pas couché' we had the pleasure to see Baptiste Giabiconi aka Karl Lagerfeld's muse exposing himself :-)
And since any excuse is a good excuse to get shirtless on prime time, Baptiste, kindly removed his shirt, not revealing more than we already saw, but I have to say that I was quite pleased with tis moment.
You can watch the video HERE, the only problem is that you cannot fast forward to that specific scene, so you will have to wait two hours and 15 minutes ... If Karl Lagerfeld is inspired by this gorgeous French model, it seems that it goes both ways. You may notice that Baptiste himslef is quite inspired by Karl's unique style the jacket, the tie, the silver rings ... let's hope he will pick up on his genie and talent too!
Until today I had no idea there was a network called Spike [source] But Alan Ritchson (quite a regular here on OhLaLa ... for obvious reasons) catapulted this network on top of my must watch list ;-)
I am not familiar at all with American football, but I doubt the guys shave eachother butts in the showers. Or maybe they do, I don't know, this country is always full of surprises.
And maybe they also like to race in jock strap while holding an Oreo between their butt cheeks ...
