Vogue Paris and Vogue Italia are the best Vogues on the planet ... hands down but Japan is doing a great job too, mostly because I love the work of Giampaolo Sgura. You may remember this cool editorial shot in Disneyland Paris. This time Giampaolo Sgura (who always delivers my favorite shoots) is going grocery shopping in My Market Days. The photos are great but the styling by Anna Dello Russo is pretty sick!
If Vogue US is not a Fashion magazine anymore (I mean nothing agaisnt Vogue US I just don't read People magazine and stuff like that) so Vogue Paris remains - with Vogue Italia - the bibles of - true - fashion, the styling is great even if it's the same usual suspects, from Céline to Louis Vuitton, Emporio Armani or Versace.
On the cover of the Avril 2014 issue, Cameron Russell, shot in the heat of Miami by Mario Testino. here is a selection of my favorite shots from the cover shoot with Cameraon and Malaika Firth. So 80's I love it.
'A playful sense of wonder' / La belle Georgia May Jagger pays a visit to Disneyland Paris for Vogue Japan by Giampaolo Sgura. Best fashion photoshoot EVER! Even tho in 7 years living in LA we only went once to Disneyland, Alek and I always loved going to Disneyland Paris (almost weekly at some point) ... this shoot is making me so excited to go back to Disneyland Paris for a little family reunion in May!!!!!
Victoria Beckham was asked by Emmauelle Alt to be the 'invitée d'honneur' aka guest editor for the December January issue of Vogue Paris.
"With two warm, personal shots from photographers Inez & Vinoodh covering the issue and a host of family photos inside, this December’s Vogue Paris transports readers straight into the world of Victoria Beckham."
"Being asked to be the guest editor of the Christmas issue of Vogue Paris this year was an incredible honour. Working with Emmanuelle Alt and her team was both exciting and inspiring and I am so proud of what we have created"
"We handed over the running of this issue to a woman who, throughout our working together, has proved to be the exact opposite of her public image. She is spontaneous with a great sense of humour, humble yet at the same time driven by a healthy ambition. She is a perfectionist, like everyone who is passionate about their work", explains Emmanuelle Alt, editor-in-chief of French Vogue.
