I have to say that this 2010 summer is probably the worst summer when it comes to spotting our favorite actors, models, celebrities at the beach ... it seems that this year they all went shy or maybe it is just a bad summer! Anyway, let's go back to Yoann and top picture. The French team played its first game in Cape Town, South Africa thursday night against Uruguay. A match was between two former world champions ... that ended up in a disappointing 0-0. And god knows that after all those months of training in jet-set places such as Tignes in the French Alps and the French Reunion island in the Indian Ocean ... Yoann was so ready for a grand match but all we got was another "grand opening" ... I am not exactly sure what happened there (quite not the top position in any case ...) but let's wish him and the rest of the team all the best for the matches to come ...
The photos are good, mostly because as a photographer I do not believe there is such a thing as a bad photo, there are different tastes and point of views, but I am a tiny little bit disappointed by this series of images. Knowing how hot Yoann Gourcuff is and how talented Bruce Weber can be, I would have expect a better result I guess ... or a butt naked Yoann ... I mean come on this is what Bruce Weber is known for after all!

I don't play soccer and have no intention to, or learn more about it, but I really don't get the standing in line thing while holding-protecting your crotch ... If you don't want it hurt then maybe you should not stay there ... I don't know, as I have told you I am really bad in game technique.
